Specifications︰ | The RMS705 is a switching and monitoring unit which complements the range of SyncoTM 700 products in the field of non-standard applications including special solutions. Therefore, it is freely configurable and does not offer any standard applications. It is designed primarily to perform switching and monitoring functions in connection with logical operations. The RMS705 is based on the user-friendly operating philosophy of the Synco™ system and is designed mainly for the following tasks: • Non-standard applications with the SyncoTM 700 system • Alerting and monitoring • Switching functions (time switch, logic modules, motors, etc.) • Choice of chilled water applications |
Advantages︰ | Whether for end users, engineering, service or commissioning staff, menu-driven operation in clear-text underlines the system’s user-friendliness at all levels. The menu-driven operation of the RMS705 is made available in the form of a plug-in type or detached operator unit. The RMS705 is especially suited for the following functions: • Connection of additional universal alarm inputs • Use of free inputs for monitoring • Trend display of data • Additional time programs (on / off) for basic functions • Event logging (e.g. legionella function) • Hours run counting • Pulse counter (pulse counting for display, not for billing purposes) • Simple control loops • Logic function blocks for switching operations depending on certain conditions • Lead / lag control of pumps, fans, motors, refrigeration machines, etc. • Control of system pumps depending on the demand for heating or cooling • Extended configuration choices based on the existing configuration principle (free configuration) • 6 simple time programs (on / off), no bus communication for time program Exception: Can be used as a slave • Additional adjustable delays, running times and operating signals (logic blocks, motor blocks) • 6 universal motor blocks each of which is capable of operating as a 1-stage, 2-stage, or 2 times 1-stage block (twin pump), including a number of time settings plus precommand for dampers or valves • 2 rotary step switches: Lead / lag control including the functionality of linear, binary and flexible step switches
